The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) hereby announces the posting of the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) number BAA-202200 for behavioral science research to advance the science and practice of intelligence interviewing and interrogation to advance the mission of the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group (HIG).  This notice constitutes a BAA as authorized by FAR 6.102(d)(2)(i).

The BAA will only be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fedbizopps.gov.  Hard copies of the BAA will not be available.  The site provides downloading instructions.  All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed through the FBO website.  Phase I proposal due date is June 3, 2013.     Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this BAA.  A detailed description of each area of interest and format of submission is included in the BAA.  The BAA also describes the process for proposal submission and evaluation.  There will be no other formal Request for Proposal or solicitation with regard to this BAA.  The issuance of the BAA does not obligate the Government to fund any subsequent proposal or pay any proposal preparation costs.
