The Naval Air Systems Command, Precision Strike Weapons - PMA-201, intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, for the acquisition of the integration and installation support activities for adding Encapsulated (ENCAP) Harpoon capability to the Taiwan Navy Sea Dart Program. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order against Blanket Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 will be issued. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
