This is a proposed acquisition for the sole source purchase request of the Integra Viaflow Multichannel Pipettor (Item # 6001) and essential accessories by Integra Biosciences Corporation, for the 81st MDG/Genetics Lab at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 27 December, 2017. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizopps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with Integra Biosciences Corporation as the sole source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the offer due date specified on the solicitation/RFQ will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
