The Department of State is seeking qualified sources to perform a dry-dock inspection and maintenance / repair services on a foreign government-owned vessel located in Central America. Due to the current condition of the vessel, only repair facilities within the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Central America will be considered. The characteristics of the 1960s Israeli-made vessel are as follows:

Width: 18 Feet
Height above waterline: 11 Feet
Draft: 4-5 Feet
Displacement: 40 Tons
Construction: Aluminum
Propulsion: 2 x 3406 of 535 HP
Compartments: Six Watertight Compartments
Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: sandblasting and painting, inspection and recertification of life raft, shaft alignment, maintenance of main diesel engines, expansion of the existing fuel and water tanks, and replacement of hoses and rubber seals.
Responses must identify clearly identify the name of the company, qualifications possessed to perform maintenance / repair services, the location and description (to include available equipment such as rails or boat lifts) of the repair facility, and a description of past experience performing similar services.
Responses must be submitted via e-mail or facsimile, and must include "RPSO-FL-NAS-NIC-11-01" in the subject line. No telephone calls will be accepted.
The Government will not pay or reimburse contractors for any costs or charges arising as a result of submission of a response to this notice or the Government's use of such information.
