The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required to perform inspection and testing of the Cathodic Protection System for the JP5/Diesel Fuel Line, Cargo Warf and Fueling Pier, located on the USCG Base Kodiak, Alaska as specified in the Statement of Work. Contractor shall demonstrate (in writing) an understanding of each of the CP system's design, installation, and operating status prior to arrival on-site for inspection and maintenance. The USCG will provide drawings as requested. An initial site assessment may be required. At the time of bid, a) submit inspection procedures, b) submit intended repair methods and materials for damaged or new system components, c) and provide the background and qualifications of the CT technician for approval. Technician shall be certified by NACE as a Corrosion Protection Specialist, or at a minimum, Corrosion Technician. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.

GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: NONE.
Performance Period is 45-60 days. Work to be performed Within 30 days of Notice to Proceed.
SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Operational and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, manufacturer catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification.

applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution.

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED.

A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD August 31, 2011, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.)
