The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for the procurement of six (6) Ink Pipettes, with the option to increase the quantity to eighteen (18) Ink Pipettes over a two (2) year period, in order to meet the current need and demands of the Ink Laboratory at the BEP's Eastern Currency Facility (ECF), located in Washington, D.C. At present, the BEP's Ink Laboratories use the high precision ink pipettes for the application of different types of currency ink in experiments. The Ink pipettes needed are specially designed to handle the high viscosity of the inks used by the BEP and are needed for the Laboratory to continue performing its functions. The BEP is seeking to acquire new pipettes to fill the current need and demand of the Ink Laboratory.
