Project Background: The Orange County Fire Authority intends to proceed with a Public Works project to complete various improvements to its existing training facility adjacent to the Regional Fire Operations and Training Center (RFOTC) at 1 Fire Authority Road in Irvine, CA. The project scope includes but is not limited to construction of various fire training structures, installation of modular classrooms, dorms, restrooms, parking, lighting, landscaping, and a pedestrian bridge. Project Objectives: OCFA intends to contract with the provider offering the best value for performing the following tasks: To achieve CEQA compliance for OCFA project RFOTC Training Grounds Expansion and Upgrade, through preparation of an Initial Study. In addition, based on the Initial Study results, to prepare a Negative Declaration or Mitigated Negative Declaration, and CEQA notices.
