The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) intends to make a sole source award to Informa Economics Inc. located in Memphis, TN for online commodity markets information and services on behalf of the Office of the Administrator (ODA). The specific focus will be on US and International acreage and crop production, supply and demand estimates, price outlooks, transportation and storage projections, weather forecasts, commodity or developments related to agricultural policy, farm programs and long-term agribusiness trends. The scope of research will cover the following commodities: all major grains, oilseeds and products, cotton and fibers. If no responses are received within three (3) calendar days of publication of this notice, the Government will issue a purchase order. Firms who believe they can meet these requirements should provide cost and technical information that will enable the Contracting Officer to determine if competitive action is appropriate.
