i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

We believe Illumina to be the sole manufacturer of a custom-designed high density bead chip, containing between 3,072 and 90,000 attempted bead types corresponding to pre-selected loci with 24 samples per BeadChip, referred to as Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip and the sole manufacturer of the chemical reagents for the Infinium iSelectHD BeadChip. If you believe you can provide the brand name Illumina Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip for use in an ongoing research project, please submit a quote for (1) 8 units of 2-pack, 48 samples, Catalog # WG-401-1001 Product Description: Infinium iSelectHD 1x24 sample Custom BeadChip (2-pack, 48-samples) Species: Oat; and (2) 4 units of 1-pack 11491335 Catalog #: WG-401-1004 Product Description Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip 1x24 sample and Illumina reagents required for processing. Species: Barley. Generic iSelectHD part number to be replaced with a custom part number corresponding to the specific SNP list.
vii. Deliver 8 to 12 weeks from award and receipt of both the purchase order and final SNP list. USDA-ARS will accept final delivery within 3 months.
viii. The clause 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items and 52.214-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
