USDA-ARS, Aberdeen, Idaho has a requirement for Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip
i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
ii. AG-0202-S-12-0004 is issued as a request for quotation.
iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 05-43.

v. Provide the following as indicated below:
We believe Illumina to be the sole manufacturer of a custom-designed high density bead chip, containing between 3,072 and 90,000 attempted bead types corresponding to pre-selected loci with 24 samples per BeadChip, referred to as Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip and the sole manufacturer of the chemical reagents for the Infinium iSelectHD BeadChip. If you believe you can provide the brand name or equal Illumina Infinium iSelectHD Custom BeadChip for use in an ongoing research project, please submit a quote and proposal for: (1) 12 units of 2-pack, 48 samples, Catalog # WG-401-1001, Product Description: Infinium iSelectHD 1x24sample Custom Beadchip, Species: Wheat with 90,000 attempted Beadtypes; and (2) 10 units of 2-pack, 48 samples, Catalog # WG-401-1001, Product Description: Infinium iSelectHD 1x24sample Custom Beadchip, Species: Oats with 6,000 attempted Beadtypes. FOB Destination
vii. Deliver 8 to 12 weeks from award and receipt of both the purchase order and final SNP list. USDA-ARS will accept final delivery within 3 months.
viii. The clause 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, 52.214-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders - Commercial Items, 52.211-6 and AGAR 452.209-70 apply to this acquisition.
