The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13) with International Biomedical LTD, 8508 Cross Park Drive, Austin, TX 78754-4557, as the only source that can provide an infant transport incubator and accessories tested and approved for use aboard United States Air Force aircraft. Specifically, the contractor shall provide: - Incubator Model 20M (Part #7310661, Quantity 1 each) - Propaq 204EL Monitor, Military (Part #7319875, Quantity 1 each) - Bio-Med MVP-10 (Part #7319000, Quantity 1 each) - Monitor, HILO Pressure, BIOMED M-1 (Part #7319435, Quantity 1 each) - Impact Portable Suction (Part #7319096, Quantity 1 each) - Infant Restraint Harness Papoose Style (Part #7312901, Quantity 1 each) - ACC Mod Military Low Profile with Drawer and Suction Unit Installed (Part #7310705, Quantity 1 each) - Operator Manuals (Quantity 2) - Services Manuals (Quantity 2) This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339113 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
