In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.2 this announcement serves as preliminary notice of the Defense Logistics Agency intent to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for INERTIAL MEASUREMEN.  The anticipated date for the award is on or about August 31, 2017.

PRON: D17C0352D1.  The Government proposes to acquire on a ONE TIME BUY (OTB) FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) contract with a minimum quantity of 10 each of a INERTIAL MEASUREMEN; NSN: 6605-01-607-1996; PN: 13556345 applicable to the M-EP Weapon system.

This item is restricted to ATLANTIC INERTIAL SYSTEMS, INC, CAGE CODE 63395 AND HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC. CAGE CODE 94580. This part requires restricted

engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s).

The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions.

Adequate technical data is available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
