Announcement

Air Mobility Command, in coordination with the 77th Aeronautical Systems Group (77 AESG), is hosting a Spinal Immobilization Industry Day at Scott AFB, Illinois, Bldg 3650 on 24 Oct 08. The event will begin at 0730 with a government presentation, followed by one-on-one vendor sessions. Please see attached Industry Day Registration Form.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

0810 - 0840 One-on-One Session (25 min presentation/demo & 5 min question/answer session)

0930 - 1000 One-on-One Session (25 min presentation/demo & 5 min question/answer session)

End of Industry Day

Each company will be given 25 MINUTES to present relevant technology/products with an additional 5 minutes reserved for questions and answers. Product demonstrations need to be incorporated into the allotted presentation time.

The 77 AESG is seeking information from sources that are capable of providing a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) device or develop a prototype spinal immobilization device with the capability to immobilize the cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions during Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) including wartime operations, peacetime engagements, crisis response, humanitarian relief, special operations and civilian disaster/incident response. The technology must accommodate the needs of today's small and specialized medical teams transporting patients on military AE missions that can be fielded rapidly.

Advance registration for this event is required. A maximum of 6 companies will be allowed to attend this industry day event. Each company is only allowed a maximum of two representatives. Any non-U.S. citizens attending must be identified in the registration form. The U.S. Government will not reimburse any Party attending or participating for costs incurred for this event.
