This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z08521QP45A6300 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. The NAICS Code is 336611. The Small Business Size Standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.

**For purposes of evaluation and award, Past Performance is considered to be more important than Price.

Scope of Work: CGC Bertholf

Incinerator Room Supply Fan

Background:

SF discovered Incinerator Room Supply vaneaxial fan inoperable and seized due lack of use after several days. Upon inspection, SF discovered major corrosion and rust buildup prevented fan blade from moving freely. Fan requires major overhaul, focusing on fan blades and balance. SF was able to make temporary repairs to restore fan operation. Request SFLC fund contract to overhaul fan at next dockside period & coordinate NED to re-install.

Statement of Work:

1. Contractor will arrange for pick up and/or shipment of fan to repair facility.
2. Contractor will assess the condition of the fan and provide repair plan/estimate
3. Contractor will complete overhaul of fan
4. Contractor will arrange for return shipment of fan to ship.

Parts:

The Coast Guard will provide the following parts.

1. Fan referenced in drawing 418A-WMSL-530-030 Section 7-F under A2A roughly 26”x20” and weighs around 205lbs, it will be removed by the ship, and reinstallation will be coordinated with NED.

Note: any one coming onboard the ship must be wearing a N95 mask, latex gloves, monitoring body temperature and reporting any Covid-19 symptoms.
