Solicitation for MOSS 2007 Implementation & Deployment
(Federal Funds) RFP-9531-08-R-0400
May 20, 2008
Prospective Offerors:
You are invited to submit your written proposal(s) for providing the above-mentioned services, to be received by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Office of Finance, Division of Procurement, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place, SW, Washington, DC 20024-2126. Written proposals (submitted electronically, preferably via e-mail) will consist of two separate volumes, "Technical" and "Business." Both volumes will be due no later than 2:00 PM ET, Friday, June 20, 2008. Please refer to for all documents and instructions pertaining to this solicitation.
The RFP and its Exhibits are intended to provide sufficient information to allow Offerors to submit a comprehensive proposal(s). Offerors desiring clarifications shall submit questions, in writing (preferably by e-mail), as soon as they realistically hope to get a response.
Also, please note that the web posting contained an errata, which will be corrected by the end of the day (May 21, 2008), to read:
"This revises section L.1 of the RFP to remove the GSA-schedule-only restriction in favor of full-and-open competition for all qualified Microsoft Gold-certified vendors.
Vendors who *have* GSA-schedule contracts are encouraged (but not required) to submit a bid which applies their GSA contract terms and conditions and which uses GSA-published rates as a ceiling, not a floor, such that pricing is maximally competitive. The advantage of this to us is in the convenience of a shared framework of contract language and a demonstrated commitment to government contracting and (presumably therefore) experience working with government clients.
Otherwise, and for vendors who do *not* have GSA contracts but meet all qualifications stipulated in the RFP, there are two alternative threshhold requirements:
1] review and consideration of applicable federal contract language, which would be applied to be applied to any award; and
2] demonstrated experience implementing a MOSS solution for at least two (2) government clients in the last two (2) years."
>Sigh.< Pobody's nerfect. Please contact me with any questions regarding this project at (202) 314-7828.
Very truly yours,
