The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to AGFA Healthcare Corporation and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source is capable of responding to provide mechanical licensing for IMPax Refresh. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. AGFA Healthcare Corporation has extensive experience working within the scope of the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510 with a size standard of 1250 EMP. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
