The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to the existing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract, N00019-06-C-0298, with Goodrich Fuel and Utility Systems, 100 Panton Road, Vergennes, VT, 05491, on an other than full and open competition for procurement of commercially-available onboard Integrated Maintenance Diagnostic System (IMDS) System kits and test sets for the United States Marine Corps H-53 helicopters and IMDS Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) component spares for the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP). These items will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, “Acquisition of Commercial Items.” The resultant contract modification will cover FY08 effort. Support of the IMDS integration and operation, including sustaining engineering support, logistics support, production support, and any nonrecurring related support will be procured utilizing delivery orders on a sole-source basis under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0022.
