This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term contract, which will include NSN 5855-01-505-3103, Illuminator, Infrared, in B.E. Myers Co., Inc., CAGE 6U501, P/N 425P-A2-AA. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The period of performance will be a 1-year base period and four, 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted using other than full and open competition. The RFP will be issued for an estimated annual quantity of 207 EA for the base year and each option year. Offers will be solicited with production delivery of 40 days ARO. Terms are FOB Origin with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination covering DLA Direct requirements only. Clause 252.225-7001, Buy American and Balance of Payments Program- Basic applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
