This Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) AN/APX-119 Interrogators in support of the submitted LOA Peach Sun Program for the Royal Saudi Air Force.  This acquisition is for Saudi part number AN/APX-119 4079100-0524.  This requirement is sole source to: Ratheon Advanced Communications and Countermeasures, 6260 Guardian Way, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; CAGE: 06845.  Authority: 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.  The basic requirement is for a quantity of 94 EA.  All assets will be shipped FOB Origin to the FMS customer.  Solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 19 January 2013 with response due 30 days after solicitation issue date.  Deliveries are estimated to be 36 months ARO contract.  Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  The RFP will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.  If you desire to obtain a copy (NO TECHNICAL DATA AVAILABLE), your emailed or faxed request must be submitted to [email protected].  No telephone requests will be honored.
