NOTICE TO BIDDERS (Chapter 103D, HRS) ELECTRONIC SEALED BIDS for WAIANUENUE AVENUE REHABILITATION, KAIULANI STREET TO RAINBOW DRIVE, COUNTY JOB NO. E-4492, FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO. STP-0100(081), DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, ISLAND OF HAWAII, will be received and recorded immediately via the Public Purchase System until 2:00 p.m., Hawai‘i Standard Time on August 5, 2021 . The project consists of A.C. pavement reconstruction, pavement striping/markings, adjusting manhole frame and covers, adjusting utility valves and boxes, and adjusting drainage inlet steel frame and grates. The Department of Water Supply (DWS), Department of Environmental Management (DEM), Sandwich Isles Communications, and Hawaii Gas forces will be doing work in connection with this project. The utility agreements with these companies shall be made a part of this contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for cooperatively coordinating, scheduling, and re-scheduling his work to accommodate the utility companies work involved in this project. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii, General Contractor’s “A” License, prior to the award of the contract.
