B 96 478731362 eNkx TuEIifHSEALED BIDS for JOB NO. 2024--1250, RELOCATION OF WAIMEA DEEPWELL HECO TRANSFORMER , District of South Kohala, County of Hawai‘i, State of Hawai‘i, will be received ELECTRONICALLY by the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawai‘i, until November 14 , 2024 , at 1:30 p.m. when they will be publicly opened. Bids received after the time fixed for opening or delivered elsewhere other than specified herein will not be considered. This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing chainlink fencing surrounding the existing temporarily install HECO transformer, wooden wireway, and cabling; clearing, grubbing and grading area of work for new transformer pad; construction of new concrete transformer pad and bollards; trenching; conduit and fittings; concrete jacket; cabling; installation of HECO transformer; modifications to existing chainlink fence, and perform all incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. A Pre-bid meeting shall be scheduled for October 29, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Department of Water Supply’s Waimea Baseyard located at 65-1234 Opelo Road, Kamuela, HI, 96743. Please notify the project engineer, Eric Takamoto, (808) 961-8790, by October 25, 2024 to indicate your attendance. Should no notifications be received, the pre-bid meeting shall be cancelled. All potential interested bidders, offerors, subcontractors, and union representatives are invited to attend. Prospective bidders must file with the Manager-Chief Engineer their "Intent to Bid" no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the time advertised for opening of bids. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form ("SQQ") provided by the Department of Water Supply is required to be filed with the Manager-Chief Engineer for evaluation no later than eight (8) days prior to the time advertised for the opening of bids unless the bidder has previously filed a Questionnaire within the previous two (2) years of the date of opening of bids. ALL BIDS SHALL BE UPLOADED ONTO PUBLIC PURCHASE ONLY. NO EMAIL OR HARD COPY SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Notice & Instructions to Bidders, Official Proposal and Special Provisons must be downloaded.
