INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) No. 021-003 OVERHAUL OF EMERGENCY GENERATORS The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) is soliciting Bids to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor to overhaul four (4) emergency generators at VRE Headquarters, VRE Fredericksburg Office, Woodbridge Station, and Manassas Station. Bids will be considered from qualified and experienced companies who are regularly established in the business of overhauling emergency generators. Through prior work performed, Bidders must be able to show evidence of reliability, ability, and experience to perform the work. If potential Bidders are accessing a copy of the IFB via VRE’s website, be advised that it is your responsibility to monitor this site for any addenda. Failure to submit signed addenda may be grounds to declare your Bid non-responsive. If there is a question about the closing date, the date printed on the IFB is the most current.
