The 366th Contracting Squadron is seeking potential sources that can provide an IDS5 DATIS Upgrade. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified sources. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. If your company is able to provide the services requested and is interested in this acquisition please submit the following:

1. IDS5 Hardware Refresh

IDS5 Hardware -
o Ten (10) SA-IDS5 Windows Mini Workstation Packages (Workstation, Keyboard, Trackball, Dual Video Capability)
o One (1) IDS5 System Administrator Upgrade Package (Printer/Scanner, Microsoft® Office, Paintshop® Pro, and Adobe® Acrobat Reader)
o Ten (10) 19-inch SAI SAW Touch Displays, Speakers (Square Screen)
o Ten (10) Network Surge Protectors (Single Outlet)
o Three (3) UPS 500VA (120V) with Automatic Shutdown and USB
o Two (2) USB to RS-232/485 Serial Interface Adapters (2 Port)
o One (1) Video Server (4 Port)

2. IDS5 DATIS Package - The IDS5 DATIS Package includes the following items:

a. Software -
o One (1) IDS5 DATIS Interface Primary Software License
o One (1) IDS5 DATIS Interface Backup Software License (Redundant Cold Standby)
o One (1) Digital ATIS Primary Software License
o One (1) Digital ATIS Backup Software License (Redundant Cold Standby)
o One (1) Digital ATIS Interface to IDS5 Software License

b. Hardware -
o One (1) Transmitter / Radio Interface Unit
o One (1) Pre-Amp and applicable cables
o One (1) Microphone, applicable cables and stereo adapter

c. Services -
o All in-house services required to configure and test the site specific IDS5 DATIS hardware package components
o A telephonic Site Survey that is followed up by electronic delivery of pre-installation questionnaires that are site specific
o Reconfiguration of Remote Maintenance Monitoring (RMM) maps to include the IDS5 DATIS System
o Voice library updates, modifications or additions, one (1) time within the first year after delivery, if requested by the customer. These modifications include changes or additions to the Field Conditions, NOTAMs/Advisories, Fixed Messages, and other items such as local place names, commonly used phrases or abbreviations. The requested modifications will be delivered on DVD as a program installation update. The IDS5 DATIS Vocabulary Update/Maintenance does not cover any change to the basic program functionality. Any software changes must be negotiated under a separate contract or order

d. Manuals - One (1) set to include:
o Operations Manual
o Installation Manual
o Configuration Manual

e. Warranty -
o One (1) year of software and hardware warranty from date of delivery.

f. Support -
o One (1) year of telephone/email technical support during published business hours, excluding observed holidays

g. Shipping/Freight -
o All associated shipping and freight costs

3. In-House Services
o A telephonic Site Survey with the applicable Mountain Home AFB personnel to ensure all required information and requirements are assembled and known
o The setup, configuration, staging, and testing of the IDS5 Workstations and IDS5 DATIS Hardware for integration onto the Mountain Home AFB LAN
o Associated shipping of the proposed deliverables

4. On-Site Services

a. DATIS Installation/Integration and Training - Two (2) Days of On-Site Services performed by an licensed/certified Technician to include the following tasks:
o Install the DATIS Transmitter Radio Interface Unit onto the LAN
Note: personnel are not authorized to do final connections to GFE radios.
o Integrate IDS5 DATIS Software onto an existing IDS5 (AFAS) workstation located in the ATCT
o Configure the IDS5 DATIS Software Interface to communicate with IDS5 (AFAS) software
o Integrate the DATIS "Redundant Cold Standby" Software (backup) onto an existing IDS5 (AFAS) workstation located in the ATCT
Note: The "Redundant Cold Standby" software is an exact replication of the primary ATIS software. If the primary digital ATIS workstation fails, the "Redundant Cold Standby" software can be activated for backup use via the workstation it is installed on.
o Conduct DATIS Software User and Maintenance Training for Mountain Home AFB personnel

b. IDS5 Hardware Installation/Integration - Up to three (3) Days of On-Site Services performed by an licensed/certified Technician to include the following tasks:
o Install and integrate the proposed IDS5 hardware onto the USAF LAN
o Configure the IDS5 hardware with the latest Mountain Home AFB AFAS database
o Database provided by a Mountain Home AFB AFAS Administrator
