THIS PROCUREMENT IS LIMITED TO CONSIDERATION OF QUOTES FOR ITEMS PRODUCED BY SOURCES THAT ARE ELIGABLE FOR WAIVER OF FIRST ARTICLE TESTING REQUIREMENTS (SEE 52.209-9015).
FIRST ARTICLE CONTRACTOR TESTING: Contractor shall test 12 samples IAW
A3186217 Rev D sections 4.4 thru 4.4.2 and Table I.
FIRST ARTICLE TEST REPORTS: First Article Test reports shall be
approved by the cognizant QAR. A copy of the approved test report shall
be sent to the contract administrator listed on the contract.
Contractor to provide FAT reports within 180 days of award. Government
requires 90 days for review/approval.
FIRST ARTICLE SAMPLE DISPOSITION: First Article Test samples shall be
retained by the contractor and shall not be submitted as part of the
order quantity. The government reserves the right to retain sample
units or to require the manufacturer to furnish the sample units.
ACCEPTANCE TESTING: Acceptance testing shall be IAW A3186217 Rev D
sections 4.5, 4.6.1 thru 4.6.5 in that order.
ADEQUATE DATA FOR THE EVALUATION OF ALTERNATE
OFFERS IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE PROCUREMENT
AGENCY. THE OFFEROR MUST PROVIDE A COMPLETE
DATA PACKAGE INCLUDING DATA FOR THE APPROVED
AND ALTERNATE PART FOR EVALUATION.

TESTING, APPLIES. THIS CLAUSE IS A GOVERNMENT
OPTION THAT CAN ONLY BE INVOKED UPON THE
COGNIZANT CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

ARE TO BE SELECTED.
THE USE OF ANY CLASS I OZONE-DEPLETING SUBSTANCE
(ODS) IN THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, TESTING,
CLEANING, OR ANY OTHER PROCESS FOR THIS ITEM
UNDER ANY MILITARY OR FEDERAL SPECIFICATION,
STANDARD OR DRAWING REFERENCED IN THIS ITEM
DESCRIPTION IS "PROHIBITED" UNLESS THE SEPARATE
WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IS
OBTAINED. THIS PROHIBITION SUPERSEDES ALL
SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BUT DOES NOT
ALLEVIATE ANY PRODUCT PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS.
