Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM) intends to award a non-competitive sole source purchase order for the Center of Information Technology (CIT) to Alamo City Engineering Services, Inc., 3463 Magic Drive, Suite 137, San Antonio, Texas 78229 for Ideation software licenses to be used at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Alamo City Engineering Services is the only known reseller.
It is NLM's intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source basis to Alamo City Engineering Services under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6 Limited Sources.
Contractor Objectives and Tasks
Period of Performance: Base plus four (4) option periods of Ideation software.
Sole Source Justification
In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Alamo City Engineering Services, Inc. is the only source capable of providing the required supplies and services.
This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by NLM. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Derek Bowks, Contracting Officer at [email protected] by 10:00 AM EST on Friday, August 9, 2019. Proposals must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted.
