The Idaho Panhandle National Forest, Sandpoint RD Bullpen, Smelterville RS and Fernan Ranger Station has a requirement for snowplowing and sanding. Contract period to start 11/23/2008 with 4 option years for Smelterville and Fernan, and possible 2 year option for Sandpoint. SCOPE OF CONTRACT This contract requires snow removal as needed at the Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District’s Fernan (located at 2502 E. Sherman Avenue in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho) and Smelterville (located at 173 Commerce Drive in Smelterville, Idaho) offices, and at the Bullpen at the Sandpoint Ranger District’s Fire office (located at 1602 Ontario in Sandpoint, Idaho) in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. Sanding is also required after each plowing at both Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District offices, but not at the Sandpoint office. Sidewalk(s) snow removal and de-icing, for areas directly adjacent to and surrounding the building as well as sidewalks parallel to Sherman Avenue, is additionally required only at the Fernan location. Hauling of excess snow may be required if the Government determines snow accumulation has reached a point where it can no longer be contained in the designated disposal area(s). The contract includes furnishing furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals.
