STATE OF OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The Contract for this project will be awarded using the "Price plus Technical Qualifications plus Technical Approach" alternative method of selection (also known as A+C+D). This project has been exempted from competitive bidding requirements according to an exemption granted under Oregon law by the Oregon Director of Trans portation: ODOT Exemption Number 2021-02. The Bid Booklet will be in two separately bound parts, the Technical Component Part and the Price Component Part, which together constitute the Bid Booklet. Submit paper Technical Component Part Bids (electronic Bids for the Technical Component Part will not be accepted--see Section 00120) to Marie Wright, Construction Contracts Manager, at the following time and places: • Before 9:00:00 a.m. on the 1st day of February, 2022 (Technical Component Part Bid Closing). • For Bids submitted by mail or parcel delivery service, send to ODOT's address below. • For Bids submitted by hand delivery, date stamp the Bid with the provided date stamping device and place into the ODOT Procurement Office Bid Box located in the vestibule at the following address: Oregon Department of Transportation 3930 Fairview Industrial Drive SE Salem, Oregon 97302. Bids, Bid modifications, and Bid with drawals for the Technical Component Part Bids will not be accepted at or after 9:00:00 a.m. on the day of the Technical Component Part Bid Closing. To be eligible for award of Oregon Depart ment of Transportation construction contracts, bidders (prime contractors) must submit a prequalification application according to ODOT's Oregon Administrative Rules and prequalification procedures at least ten calendar days before the Bid Closing date. This requirement will be strictly enforced. Prequalification must be in the class of work that is indicated in the proj ect's special provisions, and the bid booklet. The Agency will reject bids from bidders who are not prequalified for the class of work indicated.
