The Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas has a requirement for non-personal professional services to evaluate the Government owned High Velocity Oxygen Fuel System to include start up assistance, operator training, preventive maintenance, calibration, and overhaul of one each 9MPE-DJCL20 feeder. Negotiations to be conducted solely with Oerlikon Metco (01FK3), 1101 Prospect Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590-0201 as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) since this firm is the original equipment manufacturer and has proprietary rights to the system. This notice is for the sole purpose of complying with FAR 5.101(a)(2) and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Government. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government.
