The purpose of this solicitation is to provide human factors research to enhance the safety of the U.S. Railroad industry by reducing human factors caused train accidents, trespasser accidents, and grade crossing accidents. The Federal Railroad Administration expects to award multiple indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts as a result of the forthcoming solicitation.
