The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in support of The Division of Clinical Research (DCR) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition contract for Human Anti-Zaire-Ebola virus glcoprotein (GP) IgG ELISA kit, 96 tests; Catalog No. AE320620-1, Human Anti-Zaire-Ebola virus glcoprotein (GP) IgM ELISA kit, 96 tests; Catalog No. AE320630-1, Human Anti-Zaire-Ebola virus Nucleoprotein (NP) IgG ELISA kit, 96 tests Catalog No AE320520-1; Los NSB Diluent Bottle, 500ml extra; Catalog No. LNSB-500 with Alpha Diagnostics (6203 Woodlake Center Dr. San Antonio, TX 78244). Alpha Diagnostics does not authorize any third party vendors to supply these kits, subcontracting possibilities are not an option. This is not a request for proposal. Changing kits at this time could introduce variables that may negatively affect the current project. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 25(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
