The purpose of this RFQ is for Insulation Renewal of RB-M. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove, replace, and dispose of minor refuse, excess or waste materials. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools. Contractor shall protect all equipment and merchandise in work locations.
The complete Hull Insulation requirements are listed in the SOW. The contractor shall furnish and install all protective coverings to seal off and protect all non-affected vessel’s components, equipment, and spaces near the work area against contamination during the performance of work.
Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the complete scope of work and highly recommended to visit the facility to verify conditions and measurements. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project at US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach.
The U. S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this RFQ. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFQ. The United States Coast Guard Contracting Office will evaluate all quotes and intends to satisfy this requirement through a formal acquisition process. All quotes must be received before the RFQ close. Please see the attached SOW and related documents for the specifics of the requirements.

The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The award is based on Best Value.
