The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is contemplating issuance of a purchase order pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13.106-1(b) on a sole source basis with The Jackson Laboratory, 600 Main St, Bar Harbor, ME, 04609.  The purpose of this procurement is to purchase Hsd: Athymic Homozygous Nude- Foxn1nu Female Mice, 7 - 8 Weeks Old, 25 each to be delivered each month per 12-month period of performance. The anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022 with four 12-month option periods.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 112990 - All Other Animal Production.                                                                                            

The proposed simplified acquisition action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with The Jackson Laboratory under authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13.106-1(b). All responsible sources may provide a statement of capability, which must be received within 15 days after the date of publication notice.
