USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests has a requirement for Housekeeping/Janitorial Services for Alpine Ranger Station, Alpine, AZ 85920, multi-building site covering approximately 9,000 square feet of space (cleaned on regular basis - 5,500 additional square feet cleaned on intermittent basis).

This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business under the NAICS 561720 ($18.0 Million and below).  Award will be base on Best Value – Tradeoffs with Evaluation Factors. 

The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract for the Base-Year.  Options to extend the contracts for 2 one-year periods will be included.  The anticipated base-year will be date of Award through December 31, 2020.

The Request For Quotations (RFQ)  will be available on or after two days from this announcement.  Interested parties should submit an offer in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation.  Special attention should be paid to the requirement for Biobased Product requirements in the performance of janitorial services (https://www.biopreferred.gov/BioPreferred/ ).    

Offerors are strongly encouraged to make an appointment with the District Office to survey the building areas to be cleaned and level of effort required.  No allowances will be made after award, for offers that did not visit the site in order to prepare the offer.  Questions may be sent to Contracting Officer until December 19, 2019, 2:00 p.m.
