18-20 May 2018 will be a Teen Panel Meeting, and 21-24 June 2018 will be a Teen Summit. A military Teen Panel meeting is a group of twelve (12) teens that gather during the year to plan the annual Teen Summit under the guidance of the Child, Youth, and School Services (CYSS) National Guard program. One Teen Panel meeting will be held in May in preparation for the Teen Summit in June. Those twelve (12) Teen Panel members will also gather the first night prior to the Teen Summit in June to conduct necessary set up. The annual Teen Summit will be a gathering of forty (40) military-connected teens to participate in workshops and increase knowledge in team building, resiliency, communication, decision making and resume writing. This event shall be held approximately 20-70 miles outside and south-west of the Twin Cities in order to accommodate the needs of attendees and meet mission requirements.
