Sealed bids for Horace Mann Avenue improvements will be received online, via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net), by Red Lion Borough until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Bid results will be available via PennBid’s website by the end of the business day (prevailing time), same date. Copies of Bidding Documents for Horace Mann Avenue Improvements are available online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net. NOTE: The Red Lion Borough Council has authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Red Lion Borough Council. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Red Lion Borough in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project is forty-five (45) calendar days. Red Lion Borough reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
