This notice announces Dyess AFB intent to award a Brand Name Only Firm Fixed Price contract for a Vindicator Honeywell equipment. The Justification and Approval (J&A) document is attached to this notice. If any vendor objects, the vendor shall provide written notice to the 7th Contracting Squadron (7CONS) by 3 September 2020.
This combined synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), solicitation number FA4661-20-Q-0110 77 WPS in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisition Procedures and IAW FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is a Brand Name Only requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1(c) that uses a brand name description to specify a particular brand name product that is peculiar to one manufacturer.
