This is a notice of intent to sole source an award to Honeywell International Inc., 1300 West Warner Road, Tempe, AZ 85284-2822.

The contract will be awarded pursuant to U.S.C. 2304.(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements."

The contract is for the Matrix Assembly 3-500-480-61, quantity of 49 each. Applicable to AGT 1500 Gas Turbine Engine. F.O. B. Destination with deliveries to Advance Turbine Engine Army Maintenance (ATEAM), Bldg. 741, Fort Riley, KS.

This is restricted to approved vendors of the U.S. Army Tank Command (TACOM), Warren, MI. 48397-5000. These parts require engineering source approval by the design control activity (U.S. Army Tank Command) in order to maintain the quality of the part. All companies must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition.
