This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation #N4523A-18-Q-1302 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those is effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100.

The solicitation is being posted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (Except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Product Service Code is J099 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Miscellaneous.

Service Contract Act Wage Determination 15-5525 (Rev. -7) is applicable to this requirement.

CLIN 0001; 26 (Twenty-Six) EA Hone, Inspect, Recoat Plungers

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) has a requirement for a hone, inspect, and recoat of plungers for a commercial service, firm fixed price single award contract (FFP).

Delivery is FBO Destination, Naval Base Kitsap, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard during the Period of Performance as follows:

1 October 2018 through 31 December 2018

Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the proposal:

  • 1. Request for Quotes (RFQ) number
  • 2. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and Cage Code or Duns number of the Offeror
  • 3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Proposals that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration
  • 4. Address technical capability in meeting the requirements per the Statement of Work.
