The North County Transit District (NCTD) manages an annual holiday promotional event, The Holiday Express, onboard NCTD’s commuter rail service (COASTER). Tickets for this popular event sold to the public for a family-oriented holiday themed one-hour train ride. Twelve (12) round trip train rides are scheduled over two weekends (three (3) trips on each Saturday and three (3) trips on each Sunday) in December. The final dates of the event will be confirmed no later than four (4) months prior. NCTD requires a Contractor to provide character actors (i.e., Santa Claus, holiday elves, snow princesses) for on-board entertainment during the train ride.
