The City of Long Beach (City), Technology & Innovation Department (Department) is seeking bids to renew its existing Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) Storage Array Serial #54829 hardware and software maintenance. The equipment is currently installed at the City’s Data Center, 333 West Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802. The contract term will be for a period of 24 months with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The renewal date is July 1, 2017. The Bid Management System will not accept late bids and no exceptions shall be made. Bidders will receive an e-bid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that their bid was submitted successfully. The City will only receive those bids that were transmitted successfully. Bidders shall indicate “no bid” or “N/A” in the space provided for an item for which no bid is being offered. In addition to the electronic submission, bidders shall submit the following original document(s) with wet signature(s) in a sealed envelope to the address shown below: 1. Original bid cover page 2.
