Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement INTERNSSt Joseph the worker Corporate Internship ProgramThe U.S. fish & Wildlife Service (US FWS) in Portland Oregon intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1, Other than full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, for the hiring of four interns to provide valuable learning opportunity. Interns will do one day a week to gain knowledge & assist biologists. This is in alignment with the Secretary of Interior's initiative to increase youth employment opportunities 2011- 2012.
