It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under staturoty authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.  Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  This agency intends to award to Siemens Enterprise Communications 1001 Yamato Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33431 off of GSA Schedule # GS-35F-0143R 

Contractor shall install an integrated console system for the 190th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) Command Post. System will allow the 190th ARW Command Post personnel the communication capability to respond to a national crisis and improve operations and training capability. Installation will include the site visit/survey, design, planning, installation, system set-up, testing, cut-over (installation of HiPath 4000 Version 5.0), controller (customer) training, and complete documentation of all hardware and software components for the system. System will also include the latest Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certified software (V5) with touch screen capability to support Operational Command Centers and allow communications with other support personnel over radio (land mobile, HF/UHF/VHF) and land-line communication mediums from a single console.

All of the contractor supplied products must be on the JITC certified approved product list (APL) or waived by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). Products currently on a JITC testing schedule will be considered; however, must be on the APL prior to contract award. In addition, it will consist of labor and parts maintenance warranty on proposed system for one (1) full year after system acceptance.
