Notice is hereby given that the Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority (MCRWMA) has released project number IFB20220125MCRWMA – Highway 59 Phase 6B-2 & Billy Wright Phase 2C landfill liner expansions. MCRWMA invites the submission of Bids from qualified Contractors to construct the Highway 59 Phase 6B-2 & Billy Wright Phase 2C landfill liner expansions. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) document can be found at http://www.mcagov.org/bids.aspx For prospective bidders, there will be two (2) mandatory in-person pre-bid meetings on February 7, 2022. The first mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. sharp at the Highway 59 Landfill located at 7040 North Highway 59, Merced, CA 95348. The second in-person mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Billy Wright landfill located at 17173 S. Billy Wright Rd., Los Banos, CA 93635. Bids received after the closing deadline will be rejected. Bidders are responsible for making certain their bid documentation is complete and is received by MCRWMA on or before the closing deadline. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the IFB. Any alterations to the IFB will be made by written addenda only. Communications from bidders shall be submitted in writing to Daisy Zaragoza, Procurement and Reporting Analyst for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other MCRWMA employees or consultants with respect to the bid documents or project.
