The general nature of the work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, services, and incidentals required for the demolition, removal and proper disposal of existing sidewalks, accessible ramps, trees and tree wells, landscaping, a portion of a wall, driveway, curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement along the west side of Highland Avenue between Evergreen Street to the north and East Duarte Road to the south, and the construction of new sidewalks, accessible ramps, concrete bands at sidewalks, tree wells, driveways, curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete pavement; installation of thermoplastic crosswalks, trees and tree grates, pavers at sidewalks, landscaping and irrigation system; and reconstruction of a portion of a wall.
