Request For Proposal - Hi Rail 180 Degree Cranes

 

The  Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) would like to invite you to submit a proposal. Further information regarding the Request For Proposal (RFP) for Hi Rail 180 Degree Cranes is included on the email attachment.

 

WMATA is soliciting proposals for the procurement of Hi Rail 180 Degree Cranes as indicated in the Specifications. The solicitation will be available on or about May 15, 2013, via the attachment below. If you have any questions, Technical, Contractual, or Administrative, please e-mail them to [email protected] no later than Close of Business, May 20, 2013.  WMATA will provide written answers, by e-mail to all those who obtain the RFP and provide their e-mail addresses.  If an amendment is issued resulting from questions and answers, it will be posted on our website.

 

The solicitation contains a DBE percentage goal. Proposed DBE's must be certified by WMATA before the proposal due date. For information concerning the DBE program, please contact Ms. Cathy Svoboda 202-962-1854, [email protected].

 

Awards for all WMATA procurement can only be made to vendors who are registered in the WMATA Vendor Registration Database (VRD). Therefore, all vendors are strongly encouraged to register in the WMATA VRD prior to submitting a proposal. To register, visit our website at www.wmata.com. WMATA intends to award a contract/ purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. WMATA intends to award a contract/ purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
