STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements
The Distributed Spacecraft Mission teams are coordinating their technology development efforts to ensure their component technologies integrate into a full system for acquiring and holding a precision formation flying mission. The current project effort is in leading, planning, requirements generation, and integration of those component technologies into an integrated technology demonstration. The integrated technology demonstration will require two (2) 6 degree of freedom platforms that emulate linear and angular spacecraft motion. Each platform will serve as a spacecraft and carry associated technology payloads for demonstrating precision formation flying.
2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs
The contractor shall perform the following duties:
• Deliver two (2) sets of a hexapod, controller, cables, software, and user manual
• The following product items have been identified
o H-840.G2: Hexapod, DC motor gearhead, sub-d connector
o C-887.52: Hexapod controller, RS-232, USB, SPI
