NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:  Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, requirements contract on a firm-fixed price service contract for calibration and emergency repair of two each Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines to Hexagon Metrology Incorporated, 250 Circuit Drive, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, CAGE code: 1WUK4.  The period of performance of this contract will include one twelve month base year and four twelve month options years. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer Hexagon Metrology Incorporated.  The 2023 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 541380- Testing Laboratories and Services the size standard is $19 million and the service code is J052.  The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5.  Solicitation number W911N2-23-Q-0004 will be released on or about 27 June 2023 with a closing date on or about 10 July 2023 The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation.  The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date.  A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://www.sam.gov on or about 27 June 2023.  All interested sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency.
