Sources Sought: The Defense Logistics Agency/Defense Supply Center Richmond seeks United States domestic manufacturing sources for HEXAFLUOROPROPANE (HFC-236fa) in accordance with Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-58060A. NSN 6830-01-525-9381 is for HFC-236fa packaged in 150 lb. cylinders. The Government provides the empty cylinders for filling. Estimated annual demand varies from 287 to 465 cylinders. Domestic manufacturing sources capable of meeting the CID should respond to this Request for Information with the following: 1. Identification of manufacturing sites; 2. Identification of manufacturing sites for any component chemical substances; 3. Manufacturing capacity; 4. Estimate of price per 150 lb cylinder.
