The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-09-G-0002 to Delex Systems Inc. This order will provide for Harpoon engagement Training AID (HETA) Training for the Taiwan Airforce, as well as applicable technical data and training. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Delex Systems Inc. has a unique knowledge base of the Harpoon (HETA) Training, as a result of its design, development, and modification of these systems. Accordingly, Delex Systems Inc. is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Delex Systems Inc. at the following address: Delex Systems Inc. 1953 Gallows Road, suite 700 Vienna, VA 22182. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving contract award will be registration in the DOD’s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
