CLIN 0001 - 600 ea HELO PERSONAL RETENTION LANYARD

For use as a personal retention lanyard in a helicopter. Uses all black, non reflective, oxide plated quick release shackle made of stainless steel. Oversize quick release shackle allows the user to easily release from harness or belt in the event of an unplanned landing. Swedged release pin eliminates plunger pin from releasing in the event the retaining ring is broken. Retaining split ring is safety TIG welded. Quick release shackle uses velcro to secure the release tab inplace to lessen the chance of inadvertent release. Built with mil spec 5625 tubular webbing, this lanyard tests at over 3400 lbf. (15kN) breaking strength. Kong Tango double locking snap hook is classified to meet NFPA 1983/2006 edition standards. Length retracted 20 inches. Length fully extended 31 inches.
